ABOUT ME
A BIT ABOUT ME
My name is Megan Grimminck, but feel free to call me Meg. I am a Registered Massage Therapist and Wellness Business Owner. I have been practicing as an RMT for just over 4 years.
I started out working within a Chiropractic office and shortly after ventured into opening my own wellness clinic, MyoMove. MyoMove grew to be a twelve practitioner multidisciplinary clinic and was open for four years. As other passions began to take over my time and my young families needs grew I decided to make a change. In late 2022, I transitioned MyoMove to an independent mobile massage therapy practice.
One of those passions of mine is teaching. I am a Professor in the Massage Therapy program at Fanshawe College and have experience teaching in the Outreach and Clinic Supervisory roles.
Why do I do what I do?
- I truly believe that we (as health care professionals and RMTs) work too hard and go to school for too long to be jumping around at locations because we were not set up to practice properly or got locked into an unfair contract - trust me, I've seen it happen too many times!

The goal is to ensure you're informed and ready to enter practice; wether it be reviewing a contract, setting a fee schedule, teaching you how to direct bill, or simply meeting to address the entry to practice jitter questions that all arise before you start in the profession.
I have also created and designed a Cupping Therapy course and Hot Stone course. These complimentary modality courses are shaped to provide you the proper safety protocols, consent requirements, technique practice, and in depth training to ensure you can appropriately and safely perform these new modalities in your practices.

MY EDUCATION
Over the past four years, I have guest lectured for the Fanshawe College Massage Therapy Program on topics of business start-up, contract review, types of contracts for health care professionals, HST, as well as complementary modalities (specifically hot stone treatment and cupping therapy).
I have experience opening, operating, and managing a multidisciplinary clinic with varying health care professionals and staff. I have trained numerous health care professionals on direct billing platforms as well as initiating their direct billing site accounts. I also have extensive experience reviewing and forming contracts for varying health care professionals.
